Opex ? Operational Excellence Conference

During the conference, students will expand their knowledge and skills in the field of KPI. They will also learn about the Hoshin Kanri process. Additionally, the Single Minute Exchange of Die method, i.e. SMED will be discussed. Students will also have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of Six Sigma. During the event we will also present a Lean Daily Management block as a sample of courses offered on Opexity training platform.
The conference is organized for students from student clubs, societies and organizations. The aim of the conference is to extend students’ expertise and skills. It is also a chance to establish relationships between student organizations and LUQAM with a possibility for a future partnership.

The event is dedicated to members of student organizations.
The conference can be attended by
maximum of 5 people from an organization.
The event will be held remotely via the ZOOM platform.
A link to the conference will be emailed to you no later than one hour before the event begins.
It is possible to obtain a certificate of attendance for the conference – this must be requested on the registration form.
Details about the possibility of cooperation with LUQAM will be discussed during the conference.

Sorin Ionut
Plant Health, Safety, Security and Environment Manager at Dalli Group
He joined the Health, Safety and Environment team at the beginning of 2017 with responsibility for the production and support departments; his goal was to ensure compliance with applicable health and safety laws and regulations and to improve current health and safety standards. He takes care of authorizations and maintains contact with Timisoara City Hall, Environmental Protection Agency and other authorities. Currently he also manages sub-projects throughout the plant. During his first year and a half at Procter & Gamble, he has gained experience in production line maintenance planning, increasing process reliability/efficiency, reducing unplanned downtime, reducing process costs, budgeting, and improving work environment standards, continuing to develop the above elements at Dalli Group.
Andrew Gray
Management Consultant at AG Problem Solution
Has past experience in Lean strategies and quality-focused environments at Global Fortune 500 companies. Lean advisor and mentor for General Motors in global and North American divisions. Experienced in multi-site strategic and tactical planning, quality-focused with an emphasis on reducing variation and removing waste from the organization.
Specializes in Lean Manufacturing with a niche for new assembly plants in automotive and construction companies. (Greenfields) He is also experienced in the creation and continuous improvement of existing assembly plants, business transformations including mergers and acquisitions, coaching and HR leadership development.
Anna Piątek
PROJECT SPECIALIST
She graduated from the Jagiellonian University, majoring in quality management and finance and controlling. She gained experience initially as a specialist in the quality department and later in the World Class Manufacturing department of a construction industry company where she developed her skills in Lean Management and Quality Management. She was also responsible for the functioning of the 5S system in the entire organization and took an active part in optimization projects. Then in LUQAM as a project specialist she coordinated and developed the Opexity project.
Łukasz Krajnik
trainer & consultant at LUQAM
Graduate of University of Technology and Agriculture (now University of Technology and Life Sciences) in Bydgoszcz, majoring in environmental protection. He completed postgraduate studies in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at the Gdańsk University of Technology. He gained his experience at the positions of Product Technician, Quality Manager, Project Leader. His responsibilities included overseeing the provision and development of technical competencies within the team, leading and managing various product development projects, overseeing the lead product launch process, participating in industrial strategy development projects and business process development. He was involved in product and process FMEA, responsible for process and product variance identification activities as well as data analysis to determine product and process CTQ.
